Disney Destinations, LLC ("Disney Destinations," "we," "us," "our" or "ourselves") is responsible for, among other things, advertising, promoting and marketing the Walt Disney World® Resort, Disneyland® Resort and Disney Cruise Line.
As used in this Privacy Policy, "The Walt Disney Family of Companies" includes The Walt Disney Company and all of its subsidiary and affiliated entities, including companies such as ABC and ESPN that generally do not offer their products and services under the "Disney" brand name, as well as companies that generally do offer their products and services under the "Disney" brand name. Disney Destinations is a member of The Walt Disney Family of Companies.
This Privacy Policy discloses how we collect, use, and share personally identifiable information gathered about you on the Web Site where this Privacy Policy is posted. This Privacy Policy applies only to personally identifiable information collected on the Web Site where this Privacy Policy is posted and does not apply to any other information collected by The Walt Disney Family of Companies through any other means.
When this Privacy Policy uses the term "personally identifiable information", we mean information that identifies a particular individual, such as the individual's name, postal address, e-mail address, and telephone number. Information You Provide
Much of the personally identifiable information we collect comes directly from you. Typically, this information includes your first and last name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, and date of birth. We may collect personal information when you visit the Web Site including, without limitation, when you enter the Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival Community Garden Contest and Instant Win Game (collectively, the "Sweepstakes").
Information Collected Through Technology
We may collect information through technology to make the Web Site more useful and for other business purposes. For instance, when you come to the Web Site, we may collect your IP address. An IP address is associated with the access point through which you enter the Internet, and is typically controlled by your Internet Service Provider (ISP), your company, or your university. Standing alone, your IP address is not personally identifiable. At times, we may also use IP addresses to collect information regarding the frequency with which our users visit various parts of the Web Site. We may combine this information with personally identifiable information.

Information that We Collect from Others
We may update and supplement personally identifiable information that we have collected directly from the Web Site with other information that we obtain from third parties and other members of The Walt Disney Family of Companies. Disney Destinations, LLC
Personally identifiable information collected under this Privacy Policy may be used by Disney Destinations to enter you into the Sweepstakes and for any other matters relating to the Sweepstakes. In addition, Disney Destinations will use your personal information to complete transactions requested by you (for example, ordering a Disney Parks Vacation Planning DVD) and to send you administrative communications.
Sharing of Personal Information with Members of The Walt Disney Family of Companies
In addition, if, when entering the Sweepstakes, you opt-in to receive occasional updates, special offers and other information from The Walt Disney Family of Companies about their products and services (collectively, the "Promotional Materials"), your personally identifiable information collected under this Privacy Policy will be shared among and used by The Walt Disney Family of Companies to send you the Promotional Materials by postal mail, e-mail or other means. If you permit members of The Walt Disney Family of Companies to send you the Promotional Materials, you may withdraw the permission by going to https://register.go.com/global/nrtOptInOptOut/optOut and following the instructions. If you withdraw the permission, it may take up to thirty (30) days (unless a shorter time period is required by applicable law) for members of The Walt Disney Family of Companies to stop sharing your personal information for promotional purposes with other members of The Walt Disney Family of Companies. In addition, it may take up to ninety (90) days (unless a shorter time period is required by applicable law) for members of The Walt Disney Family of Companies to stop using your personal information for promotional purposes.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information
Disney Destinations and other members of The Walt Disney Family of Companies may take your personally identifiable information and make it non-personally identifiable, either by combining it with information about other individuals (aggregating your information with information about other individuals), or by removing characteristics (such as your full name) that make the information personally identifiable to you (de-personalizing your information). Given the nature of such non-personally identifiable information, Disney Destinations and The Walt Disney Family of Companies may use and/or share such information without restriction.
Third Parties that Facilitate Communications and Transactions with You
Sometimes Disney Destinations hires third parties to help provide products, services or information, such as a company that helps fulfill prizes for a sweepstakes. In this situation, there is a need to share your personal information with these third parties. Disney Destinations may also work with third parties who help either gather your information or communicate with you. Nonetheless, except as separately permitted by other provisions of this Privacy Policy, these third parties are allowed to gather, receive, and use your personal information only for the purposes described in this paragraph or to facilitate compliance with laws.
Disclosures Required by Law and Disclosures To Help Protect the Security and Safety of the Web Site, The Walt Disney Family of Companies and Others
Disney Destinations and other members of The Walt Disney Family of Companies will disclose personal information when it believes in good faith that such disclosures (a) facilitate compliance with laws including, for example, compliance with a court order or subpoena, or (b) will help to: enforce our Terms of Use; enforce contest, sweepstakes, promotions and/or game rules; protect your safety or security including, without limitation, the safety and security of property that belongs to you; and/or, protect the safety and security of the Web Site, The Walt Disney Family of Companies, and/or third parties including, without limitation, the safety and security of property that belongs to Disney Destinations, The Walt Disney Family of Companies and/or third parties.
Sale of Business
If Disney Destinations sells all or a part of our business, the information collected under this Privacy Policy may be transferred as a part of the sale. In that event, we will work to ensure that the purchaser is obligated to treat your personal information in the same manner required by this Privacy Policy.
The security and confidentiality of your information is very important to us. We have implemented technical, administrative, and physical security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access and improper use. From time to time, we may review our security procedures in order to consider appropriate new technology and methods. Please be aware though that, despite our best efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.
We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy that affect the way we use and/or share personal information you have already provided to us pursuant to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by sending you an e-mail at the last e-mail address that you provided us, and/or by prominently posting notice of the changes on the Web Site covered by this Privacy Policy. Any such amendment to this Privacy Policy will be effective thirty (30) calendar days following either our dispatch of an e-mail notice to you or our posting of notice of the changes on the Web Site covered by this Privacy Policy. As our services develop and improve, we may adopt other methods of informing you of such material changes or revisions. In the event that the last e-mail address that you have provided us is not valid, or for any other reason is not capable of delivering to you the notice described above, our dispatch of the e-mail containing such notice will nonetheless constitute effective notice of the changes described in the notice. If you do not wish to permit changes in our use of information that we have collected from you prior to the effective date of the changes, you must so notify us at the e-mail address provided below in Q7 prior to that effective date. In the event that you do so notify us, we reserve the right to delete your personal information we have obtained pursuant to this Privacy Policy.
